Covid-19 (Coronavirus) Statement Update – 2022 – THAMES SIDE

First, we sincerely hope that you and your loved ones are still keeping safe and well.

As the global health crisis caused by Covid-19 continues, the sanitary conditions and regulations of the Governments where we operate continue to change and we remain attentive and adaptable to the new circumstances every day.  Our Number 1 priority remains to ensure that we do all we can to help our internal team, international partners, customers and suppliers remain safe.

The Omicron variant has caused particular concern, due its high degree of infectiousness.  We continue to be vigilant and take the required precautions to protect everyone as much as possible.

We wish to reassure our valued customers that Thames Side Sensors has remained fully operational throughout the pandemic, including Manufacturing, Sales, Technical Support and Logistics/Shipping, to be ready for the continued worldwide delivery of our products.  Our load cells and electronics are heavily used within critical equipment in essential industries such as food, medical, pharmaceutical, transport and energy, amongst others.

We are 100% operational in all departments and branches worldwide, including our Indian subsidiary (Mumbai) and our Spanish warehouse & logistics division that exclusively serves our customers in the European Union (via Thames Side Sensors Europe Ltd).

To ensure the maximum possible safety for our valued teams of people, we have adapted our procedures and taken the necessary safety and sanitary measures according to the requirements in each of our operating locations.  Most of our office-based staff are now working from home, in order to limit their contact with others, despite the strict sanitary procedures that we are operating under.  This is a precautionary measure to allow us to contribute to limiting the spread of the highly infectious Omicron variant.
